My treatment approach is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I am a fairly proactive therapist and will engage you actively. We will work on examining long held beliefs and cognitive distortions that might be contributing to your symptoms. We will also explore family history to define and process unresolved issues/traumas that might be having a direct effect on current dysfunctional behavior. With all my clients, I collaborate to build an individual treatment plan that is tailored specifically to their long term needs and goals while focusing on reducing symptoms and improving daily functioning.
